This is our story. It's probably yours too.
We weren't a startup with a grand vision. We were job seekers who spent years hearing nothing back, watched people who interviewed better take roles they were wrong for, and got tired of it. So we built the thing we wished existed.
01Where it started
The first version of Job Strategy AI was a resume tool, because that was the wall we kept hitting. Applications disappearing into tracking systems. Silence. A form rejection six weeks later, if anything.
Fixing resumes helped people get into the room. It didn't fix what happened in the room. The person who told the best story still beat the person who would have done the best work. We kept seeing it, and then we read the research and found out it had been documented for eighty-five years.
46%of new hires fail within 18 monthsLeadership IQ 89%of those failures trace back to attitude, not skillLeadership IQ The interview process spends most of its time on the smallest cause.
So we changed what we were building. The resume optimizer, cover letters and interview prep are still here, because getting into the room still matters. But the centre of the platform is now the thing that changes what happens inside it: situations, not answers.
02What we believe
01
We build technology to amplify what a person can do, not to replace the judgment of the people hiring them. Every feature has to answer one question: does this help a real person get a real job they'll be good at?
02
The hiring system is broken. We're not here to game it. We're here to level it. That means reading how people think, not how well they present, and giving every candidate the same kind of scenarios.
03
No black boxes. Candidates see their own results. Hiring teams see a narrative, not a hidden score. Every number on this site links to the study it came from.
04
Our best features came from candidates and hiring managers telling us what was missing. Every person who uses Job Strategy AI makes it better for the next.
03The person on the other side
Someone takes a job they're wrong for and spends eighteen months failing quietly. Someone else, right for it, never gets the call. Both are preventable.
Job Strategy AI exists because both of those outcomes are preventable when the evaluation method is built on what the research actually says about human performance, not on what the last fifty years of hiring tradition assumed. Read the whole case, with every source, on the research page.
